The Museum Store Association is proud to present Museum Store Sunday.  On Sunday, November 26, 2017, over 400 Museum Stores representing all fifty states, eight countries, and three continents will offer relaxing, inspired shopping inside our museums and cultural institutions.  Museum Store Sunday offers consumers an annual special shopping experience in one-of-a kind stores, showcasing broad assortments of highly curated, unique, mission-specific gifts.

Museum Store Sunday is managed by the Museum Store Association based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in partnership with the United Kingdom’s Association for Cultural Enterprises, and the Museum Shops Association of Australia and New Zealand.  Participation in Museum Store Sunday is open to all independently operated museum stores and non-profit retailers located at museums, zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, historic sites, and other unique cultural institutions in the United States and internationally.

Within the Museum Store Association, members of the Advocacy Committee, along with hundreds of volunteers and sponsors, have helped to create this annual celebration of the diverse collections and programs of museums and cultural institutions around the world. Museum Store Sunday participation is available to all non-profit retailers, including both MSA members and non-members. MSA members will receive access to a MSS marketing tool kit, including MSS logos, and a template for a web banner, poster, postcard and button. All participants will receive event and publicity assistance, so membership to MSA is highly recommended to any participant who wants to make the most of this unique opportunity.
