RECOGNITION AWARDS

2024 Best Visual Merchandising Award – The Museum of Flight

The museum’s newest exhibition Art + Flight (2023) is a Museum-wide project that offers sculpture, painting, photography, installation, and new media, to realize our feelings, enhance our perceptions, and remind us of the awe and joy of flight through the materiality of art. The displays ties to exhibit which showcases the different mediums of art through space and aviation products.

2024 Best Product Development – The National WWII Museum

A major focus of The National WWII Museum is to present the story of WWII in a way that it is understandable and relatable to the younger generations. CLUE: WWII SPIES AND ESPIONAGE edition was created after the tremendous success that we had with our WWII inspired Monopoly Game. This game appeals to all ages. It is both an educational tool and a fun game for families to play together. It starts the conversation of what World War II meant then and what it still means today.

2024 Best Store Web Presence – Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

The online presence of the MFA Shop utilizes multiple channels besides our shop site such as social media, email marketing, and Google Ads. The branding across all channels stays consistent to paint a full image of the online shop and its offerings while also remaining true to the MFA’s mission. The strategy behind each channel varies slightly due to the different audience across platforms.

2024 Best Advertising and Marketing – Scott Family Amazeum

Our Holiday Playbook is one of our biggest advertising oppertunities of the year. We create a gift catalog that showcases some of our most unique and giftable products. We include ties to the community by curating pages to feature local artist products and their brand. We pair with our Museum’s marketing team to collaborate and create this playbook to be the best version it can for our shoppers. We hand them out to our guests shopping in store, promote it on social media (Curiosity Corner & Amazeum Instagrams), and link it on our website during the months of October to December. It highlights products, and helps parents & children to find the right gifts for their friends and families with ease.

2024 Best Museum Store Sunday Event – Chrysler Museum of Art

At MSS 2023, The Chrysler Museum partnered with Popcorn Custom Products to bring the “Museum Nerd Pop Up Shop” to our visitors. Along with the usual Museum Nerd merchandise the store normally carries, Popcorn brought all of their products including hoodies, stickers, t-shirts, mugs, and hydration flasks in a wide range of styles like “Black Art Matters,” “Peace. Love. Art.” and of course the iconic “Museum Nerd” by Alicia Schultz.

2024 Best Pop-Up Store or Store Special Event – Eastern State Penitentiary

Halloween Nights is an annual fundraiser for Eastern State Penitentiary that occurs from the end of September to the beginning of November. This “Halloween Festival of Epic Proportions” contains five world-class haunted houses with more traditional Halloween theming, while also incorporating our historic programming, live entertainment, and roaming characters. The historic stone walls and high ceilings of the penitentiary’s historic garage, only added to the gothic feeling of the space, transporting visitors into an immersive shopping experience.
